"Productions for Hire" The ongoing objective of Wild Journey Films is to take you, the viewer, into wild places to reveal intimate scenes of wild animals as they secretly go about their daily lives. Although this has been and will always be our passion, our goals have recently been expanded to include "Work for Hire." After being approached by the staff and friends group of the George W. Mead Wildlife Area in 2009, our first venture into producing a promotional documentary "A Journey through the Mead: On the Banks of the Little Eau Pleine" has turned out to be a great success. This 22 minute DVD touches on the Mead’s rich history and the important work they do today to maintain and enhance this wild place and to educate the many visitors that come to experience it. On a recent radio program hosted by Glen Moberg of Wisconsin Public Radio, Tom Meier, project manager of the Mead sat down with Gerard Fuehrer of Wild Journey Films to discuss the documentary and more.
